Taylor Sharpe with TMS Software, LLC presents a solution to track changes and deletes in FileMaker. The solution is based on the Get(ModifiedFields) function and utilizes the WHILE function to maintain an audit history in JSON to document the changes and deletes.

Beveryly Voth lays out the basics of the new Claris Platform in a highly informative presentation that clears up a lot of the misconceptions and answers a ton of questions.

Ron Glen Cates of RGC Data presents a calendar built natively in FileMaker. FileMaker's ability to integrate JavaScript is a powerful feature that provides lot's of great options to expand our FileMaker capabilities. However, sometimes the available JavaScript addons and solutions just don't quite fit our specific needs. As FileMaker developers we may not be as comfortable modifying or customizing solutions in JavaScript as we are in our own native FileMaker. To that end Ron explores the use of global and layout variables along with button bars and portals to build a relatively simple, expandable calendar with a range of possible applications. The while function will also be heavily featured in order to pull in and parse the desired data to populate the calendar.
